Eric travelled to Quebec as a tourist on the Lake Champlain in 1906.  In 1908, Eric crossed the US border through Winnipeg heading for Stanton Breeding Farm, Madison, Nebraska.  In 1910, Eric crossed the US border through Montreal heading for New York to travel to England.  In 1912, Eric returned to Canada on the Lake Champlain.
